POLICIES
All policies are created for the protection of both student and tutor alike. Please read all policies carefully and understand there will be no exceptions. I sincerely appreciate your time and attention regarding these procedures.
Refund Policy
Before Class
No refunds will be granted if a student cancels or misses a booked session. Instead, existing payment will be transferred and applied to the next session.
​No refunds will be granted for classes purchased for future time blocks (including but not limited to weekly, monthly, specials). Instead, the tutor and parent/guardian will arrange a time to make up the missed classes.
After Class
No refunds will be granted following the completion of any scheduled sessions.
Late Arrivals and Cancellations
Late Arrivals
Tutoring sessions will not be extended for a student who arrives late. Late students will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled session. The parent/guardian must reschedule a session if the student is more than 15 minutes late. Neither a full or partial refund will be granted if a student arrives late.
No-Show Policy
Students who fail to attend a session will be considered a no-show. If a student is a no-show, they are still responsible for payment. No refund or discount will be given. Instead, payment will be transferred and applied to the next booked session.
Tutor Cancellation
The tutor may cancel a session by giving a parent/guardian at least 24 hours’ prior notice. The tutor is responsible for rescheduling a canceled session at a time that both parties can commit to. The tutor must reschedule within 10 days of the canceled session. Failure to do so will result in a full refund to the student.
Obligations
Obligations of Students
Students should actively participate during the lesson with a positive attitude. Students should arrive on time with writing utensils, notebooks, and completed homework. Weekly assignments must be completed before class. Students should maintain a quiet environment so that they can focus.
Obligations of Parents
​The parent/guardian is responsible for the student’s conduct and character during the tutoring sessions including arriving on time, respectful behavior, and staying on task. If behavior is a recurring issue, the tutor retains the right to suspend future classes. The parent will be refunded for any suspended classes if this occurs.

The parent/guardian is responsible for initiating any communication with the tutor. The parent/guardian agrees to ensure that the student has completed all work assigned by the tutor within the time frame given.

No Warranties
​While the tutor will provide the best educational practices and resources possible, they make no promises, guarantees, or warranties with regards to a student’s performance as a result of any tutoring provided.
Media Disclosure
​Conner's Tutoring may use all forms of media (including photography, video, audio, and text) as it relates to the students, parents/guardians, and tutoring experience on any social media platforms for advertising purposes only. Parents/guardians may opt out of the media consent by emailing the tutor directly. Otherwise, students and parents/guardians are automatically considered to be opted-in.
